Billing Cycle Information

Once you visit Connally Memorial Medical Center charges are recorded by the department in which you received treatment. For outpatient services, claim forms are mailed to your insurance company within five days after your discharge. For our inpatient clients, claim forms are mailed as soon as the treating physician completes the medical record.

CMMC receives payment or denial from your insurance company and then a statement is sent to you, requesting the balance due on your account, and this data is sent to our billing office in Austin. If you are a self-pay patient, an itemized statement will be sent to you within five days of your discharge and this data will also be sent to Austin.

The Posting Area will assure that any payments received are credited to your account and the Reimbursement Analyst will handle any issues involving denials, rebilling, or appeal.
